Local company takes on local graduates
Following on from employing a first class honours graduate from Southampton Solent University, e-mango has continued the trend this year by taking on two recent graduates from Bournemouth University.
Both Dan Beer and Ashley Robbins studied the same Business Information Technology course. The course also entails a placement year, and for an employer this is great news as we then have the confidence that we get people that have experienced the challenges of a working environment.
The areas of IT and Web are so fast changing and mix technology and users so much, that we need dynamic people that can not only take on board the responsibilities of servicing our customers but also be pressing forward with the constant flow of widgets and gadgets.
Gordon Fong, Managing director, commented "As a local business it just makes good business common sense to have the recruiting of local graduates as part of your company's overall employment strategy."
